Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Timber floors will expand and contract with the levels of humidity in the air. This type of flooring, engineered is most suitable for underfloor heating as it does have a minimum of expansion/contraction.
We manufacture such floors at the highest standard. The oak glued onto the maple plywood we use for added strength and stability of the floor is 6 mm thick meaning that should you decide to change the finish of your floor after some time, it can be done by sanding and refinishing.
Take extra care when buying engineered wood flooring as it may not be fit for the traffic levels of your planned installation area. Manufacturers offering a low priced engineered floor are using a thin layer of oak/walnut/ash etc glued onto soft wood. This means that if you have a piece of heavy furniture the feet of it can "sink" into the floor causing damage.
Our company manufactures engineered flooring without compromising the strength and stability of solid timber.
